First Podium Finish at USF Juniors Opener
After months of hard work and preparation, Ariel Elkin kicked off the 2024 USF Juniors Championship in impressive fashion, securing his first podium finish during the opening round at NOLA Motorsports Park in Louisiana. Competing with the Miami-based InterMS Racing team, Ariel demonstrated exceptional skill and determination in a highly competitive field of nearly 30 drivers.
The race weekend, held from April 5-7, marked the start of a six-round championship spanning 16 races across the United States. Despite limited time to prepare for the season, Ariel quickly found his form, finishing the weekend with a podium place in Round 1. His performance set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
In addition to his stellar racing, Ariel made headlines off the track by competing with a helmet adorned with images of Israeli hostages held in Gaza, a powerful gesture to raise awareness for the humanitarian cause. This courageous act earned Ariel widespread recognition, touching the hearts of fans around the globe.
With this strong start in NOLA, Ariel and the InterMS Racing team are eager to build momentum as they head to Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama for the second round of the championship from April 25-28.
